What a Customer Has Said About Working With IRC:

Gordon Petri, Manager, Cabin Safety and Flight Operations Research, Canadian Airlines, (retired), first came into contact with Interaction when he took over the responsibility of passenger safety briefing cards for Pacific Western Airlines. After 12 years of working with IRC, he writes:

What the National Transportation Safety Board Has Said About The Importance of Testing

In a 1985 review of passenger safety information cards the NTSB commented:

"Further, although the majority of the cards were found to be visually attractive, they differed in the degree of understandability of the written and pictorial information presented. Except for the safety cards which were produced by a firm (in reference to IRC) which specializes in the development of the safety cards by application of human behavioral principles and learning techniques, it was clear that the cards examined were not developed by testing the understandability of the information presented." In 2000, the NTSB reiterated the recommendation that safety cards be tested for comprehension (NTSB A-00-87).
